Post Lockdown and back to the gym advice!
So it's only a few days until the gyms will be back open in Wales finally! I am really looking forward to it and I am sure many of you are also. Lets all be honest for many it's been a struggle to remain more motivated than the last previous lockdown, those early dark cold nights has made it more difficult to keep that motivation consistent and to remain disciplined in your routine or to do any form of physical activity, and then so does the discipline to keep eating healthy go! Now its light at the end of the tunnel and lockdown restrictions have been eased so we are getting closer everyday to some sense of normality at least. A tip for all of you who think that they will jump back to the gym and start where you left off with their fitness levels, realistically this is not going to happen, so my advise is to literally go easy the first four weeks and do not over do it, build back up again sensibly and push yourself gradually, the last thing you want to happen is to end up being injured. If you would like help to start you on a sensible exercise programme then definitely get a personal trainer they will be able to conduct fitness tests to programme the best plan for you starting off while monitoring your progress throughout. Get in touch with me now I can help devise the best plan for you moving forward.
